This facility was a brand new concrete block manufacturing plant that involved indoor silos, humidity control at the curing room entry and block molding and packaging areas. The project consisted of reinforced structural foundations, in which we encountered poor soil conditions during excavation then utilized flowable fill material after excavating through the poor soil. It also included reinforced 8” floor system, 50’ eave height on the silo section of the building and a 20’ eave height on the processing and curing portions of the building. We provided a Varco-Pruden pre-engineered building system. Mechanical, electrical and ventilation as well as equipment setting on this project was handled by others.
