This facility was constructed as the maintenance building for Mansbach Metal who is one of the largest processing facilities for scrap steel and other metals in the eastern United States, now owned by Caterpillar. This facility has 3 maintenance bays with multiple crane aisles with an eave height of 50’ to service the large arms of the scrapping equipment. The building was constructed with poured grade beams, 8” reinforced floor, gas heat, maintenance ventilation and industrial electrical systems.
